Tacoma Tile Installation | 3 Questions to Ask Your Tile Contractor

When I try to think about people needing a Tacoma tile contractor to help them tile their bathroom, shower, kitchen, back splash, or whatever, I try to think about what I look for when I'm looking for an auto mechanic. I know a ton about tiling, so I try to think about something I don't know much about - that's why we go to mechanics.

When I think about what I'd want in a mechanic, it's really quite simple. First, I want good work. I can appreciate good work, and I'm willing to pay a little more for it. If I want cheap work on my car I can go get some kid from auto mechanic school and let him practice on my car. If you want cheap work on your tile installation just try to do it yourself (by the way, this is no mark on your skills, it's simply a fact that you don't do this for a living).

Second, I want reliability. I want to know when this guy who's going to be working on my car says he's going to do the work, and that it's going to cost "x," that it will. When he said the work is going to be done, it is done. And, when I get my car back, it runs like a dream (i.e. no "hidden" problems that need to be fixed later). he leaves at night after working, the place doesn't look like a disaster zone.

Third, and finally, I want trustworthiness. When I let someone work on my car, I want to know they are going to do the work they say they will do, they will do it well, and they will treat my car with the same respect and care that I give it. I also want to know that if I ever have a problem with my the way the work was done, that I can make a phone call and have it taken care of.

When I'm installing tile for someone, I want to give them exactly the same thing. I want to give them the best work quality imaginable. I want people to be amazed with our back splash installation. I want to be the most reliable service professional they've ever worked with, and I want them to know they can trust that I will deliver on everything I promise. And that's what you get with on-point-tile.

Pretty soon we'll be putting some testimonials up here, along with some examples of our work. If you have any questions or want to know anything specifically let me know. I love talking with my potential customers!

Tacoma Tile Installer | Why You Should Consider One

We all know the state of the economy today. There isn't a lot of money left aside after the monthly bills, the savings for the college fund and retirement, and all the other things that pop up on a monthly basis. So, when you decide you need to tile the bathroom floor or tile the kitchen floor or do any tile floor installation or add that for your new granite counter top, it can be tempting to do it yourself. And I get that. But there are also some reasons why you might want to consider hiring someone to do it for you. And I'm going to tell them to you right now!

Your Time is Too Valuable to Waste Installing Tile

In today's world, we are all really busy. If you have kids you can just increase the busyness by a factor of ten. You have things that you want to do on your down time that don't involve manual labor, that don't involve being on your hands and knees for hours, and that don't involve getting dirty. And with tile installation, you're going to run into all of those things.

To put it into perspective for you, even though I'm a Tacoma tile installer, when I need my oil changed, even though I could do it myself, I take it to the oil change place to get it done. Why do I do this? Simple. It's a dirty job, it's not fun, I want it done right, and while my oil is getting changed I can use that time to do other things I need or want to do. Simple as that.

A Tile Installer Will do the Job Right the First Time

Tile can be a pretty expensive purchase. Even if you go with really cheap tile, you're typically talking in the dollar per square foot area. With something that pricey, it makes sense to want to do it right the first time. Having to rip up a tile floor is no fun, whether it was because the floor wasn't level or the thin set wasn't set up properly.

With a you can rest easy knowing that job will be done right. And, even better, you can rest easy knowing that if there is a mistake, it isn't your time and money that will be wasted (at least with us - we guarantee our work, every day, every time). We stand behind our work and have no problem telling you we're the best around.

And again, to take it back to myself. Even though I'm great with tile, and with some other things, one thing I'm not good at is cars. I just never got into them when I was a kid. Because of that, my knowledge of cars isn't that great. Now, I could rebuild a carburetor if I absolutely had to, and it would probably work, but I know that someone that does that for a living could do it faster and better than I could - their expertise is greater simply because that's what they do.

Tacoma Tile Installation | Welcome to Our Blog!

Welcome to On Point Tile LLC's blog! This, as you might expect, is our first post, and there will be many more to come. What we hope to tell you about here is the latest news and information related to tile and tile installation and keep you up to date on what is going with On Point Tile, your Tacoma tile installation headquarters!

Since this is our first post, I wanted to tell you a little bit about On Point Tile, who we are and what we do. As you would expect, we are a tile installation company. We have a ton of experience installing tile floors, doing back splashes, installing tile in bathrooms and kitchens, and installing tile in showers. Basically, if tile can be installed on it, we've probably done it.

On Point Tile is owned and operated by me, Jason Harold. I've been installing tile for over 8 years now, and I still love it as much as I always have. Several things drew me to tile work - getting to work with my hands, being able to take pride in a finished product, and the creativity and design that are involved with some tile jobs. I started out working for a tile company in the Tacoma area and, after learning the ropes, set out on my own to bring my brand of tile installation to the people.

As you might expect from our blog, we aren't your ordinary Tacoma tile installation company. We're bonded and insured. We're experienced. We're reliable. And we stand behind our work. Although we're confident your tile installation job will go off without a hitch, if you aren't completely satisfied all you have to do is let us know and we will make it right.

Before I sign off I do want to let you know one thing I'll be asking of you when we're finished - a review of our services and a promise that you'll let everyone know how great we were! Most of our work comes from referrals, and we encourage all of our happy customers to get the word out.

Thanks for coming to our blog, stay tuned for more news and information, and we look forward to hearing from you!
